Lydia Kasiwa
Chairperson
Lydia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science (Community Development) and a diploma in General Counselling. Lydia is currently working with KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP) as the Community Liaison Officer. She previously worked with Moving The Goalposts as the Health Education Coordinator and later as the Community Engagement and Football Coordinator. Lydia has vast experience in sports for development work.
Dr. Joseph Tunje
Vice Chairperson
Dr. Tunje holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science. He is a lecturer in the Department of Environmental Science of Pwani University, Kilifi, and also the Head of the Admissions Division.
Christine Mataza
Member
Christine is the Chairperson of the Upendo Methodist Women Group who are the founder members of the Orphans’ Project. She is the Principal Nursing Officer for Kilifi North Sub-County. She is also a member of the Kilifi Methodist Church.
Moses Ngari
Member
Moses Ngari Holds a PhD in Statistical Epidemiology and currently works as Programme Statistician at KEMRI/Wellcome Trust Research Programme, Kilifi, Kenya. Moses is very passionate about education and welfare of the less fortunate in the community like orphans. He is keen to engage in activities to provide this vulnerable group with a decent life and opportunity to acquire formal education.
Salim Mwalukore

Salim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biological science and an M.A. in Project Planning and Management (MAPPM). He has been working with the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP) in Kilifi since 2008 as the Community Liaison Manager.
Sharlet Chari

Sharlet holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree (Purchasing and Supplies Management). She has been working with the County Government of Kilifi since 2019 as a Principal Procurement Officer.
Doris Muhache Keah
Member
Doris is the secretary of the Upendo Methodist Women Group. She is professionally a banker and works with Imarika Sacco. She is also a member of the Kilifi Methodist Church.
Christine Lewa

Christine is the treasurer of the Upendo Methodist Women Group. She works at the Kilifi County Hospital. She is also a church leader at the Kilifi Methodist Church.
Margaret Mwangiri Deche
Member
Margaret Mwangiri Deche is a public servant currently working with the County Government of Kilifi as a ward administrator in Mwawesa ward, Rabai sub-county. She holds a Masters degree in Public Policy.
